[Rejected] Blockchain dominating Healthcare changes

Heathcare is data-rich. Reports suggest medical knowledge will double it’self every 73 days in 2020 - ted talks. Leading to huge learning. More diverse storage. As well as new medical sharing methods.

In 2016 the Estonian government decided to adopt cryptocurrencys blockchain technology.

AI can be applied in a variety of ways, predictive analytics, medical screenings and more. But where has the 2016 adoption of blockchain lead to in 2019?

Blockchain is used 24/7 to safeguard health records. Archiving activity logs for patients.

Private health information is confidential. Ensuring it is secure, from loss, damage and unwanted eyes is essential.

Estonia’s healthcare in 2018;

“a private digital ledger has been integrated into the ledger at the E-Health Foundation to record and track patient medical data. One of the goals was to have real-time awareness of the integrity of the stored data, so that administrators could see any breaches and act immediately to limit damage. Mostly though, it’s about barring would-be electronic intruders and keeping alterations from happening in the first place.

The project in Estonia is still a work in progress, but I believe that other nations that use electronic health records could soon follow suit. “
